Below is a series of process sketches to the final drawing used in this graphic. I wanted the headdress drawing to look like an old antique silver-plate photograph in similar style to the famous photos taken by the photographer Edward S. Curtis. The drawing was graphite on paper with digital overlays to get the "antique" effect.
I was asked by the Sr Vice Presidents of Denim and Supply to hand paint a denim jacket that would be given to Ralph Lauren on behalf of the D&S team for his birthday.
This was the jacket I painted based off the drawing the above drawing.
