The below painted footballs were on display at the Minnesota Vikings Museum at TCO Performance Center throughout the 2022/23 NFL training camp. They were on display inside U.S. Bank Stadium during all Vikings home games for the regular season.
The Vikings Foundation placed these footballs (along with 4 painted helmets and a jersey) up for auction during each home game throughout the season. The date for each auction is listed on the image. All proceeds from the auctions went to the Vikings Foundation and their mission in advancing the well being of youth through engaging health and education initiatives.
The "Rune Stone Player" football artwork was inspired by traditional Viking rune stones. Each player with their own dragon to help ward off any and all invading armies as they Defend the North!
